Product Engineer/ Engineer I

Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design \& Development: Design bellows and bellows assemblies using SolidWorks and EJMA calculations.
* Product Quotation: Provide preliminary design and production sequences for the sales team to quote new products.
* Production Support: Review customer requirements, create manufacturing prints, design manufacturing prints and troubleshoot production issues.
* Customer Technical Support: Serves as a link between production and customers. Respond to customer technical questions.
* Process Improvements: Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, product development, or a related role.
* Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
* Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis.
* Knowledge of machining processes, materials science, and sheet metal forming processes.
* Experience with stress calculations, such as tensile stress, share stress and hoop stress.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proactive at seeking knowledge and understanding processes and data.
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
* Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., AS, AMS, ASME, ASTM, AWS).
