Program Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Client is seeking a **Program Mechanical Engineer** to join their Program Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing assigned HVACR industry working groups and their related certification programs.

?**Key responsibilities include:**

* Coordinate product testing efforts alongside certification partners, regional teams, and independent laboratories to ensure market surveillance testing is completed accurately and on schedule.
* Organize and chair Compliance Committee meetings to evaluate annual program outcomes, revise governing documentation, and identify opportunities for program improvements or new initiatives.
* Facilitate working group sessions with member organizations to drive project completion and task execution.
* Represent the organization at technical conferences, workshops, and industry meetings, including authoring technical documents that reflect organizational positions.
* Collaborate with technical working groups to establish performance rating standards and guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.
* At least two years of relevant professional experience.
* Solid understanding of product performance testing, including applicable standards and testing methodologies.
* Proven ability to manage and deliver project outcomes independently with minimal oversight.
* LEED, PE, or EIT certification is a plus, but not required.
* Experience facilitating meetings and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
