Software Engineer to design build and ship AI powered tools connectors and applications that streamline manufacturing and business operations company wide Youll operationalize AI systems for design manufacturing and operations and partner with teams across every department to translate complex business needs into elegant technical solutions Working in an AgileScrum environment youll design operational AI systems conduct system audits author clear technical documentation troubleshoot issues and continuously enhance our AIML capabilities WHAT YOULL DO Design build test and ship AI powered tools connectors and in house applications that streamline manufacturing and business operations across the companyDevelop and operationalize AI systems for quality control and production automationBuild and maintain robust MLOps and model evaluation pipelines that ensure our models are reliable reproducible and continuously improvingPartner with teams across every department to gather requirements and translate complex business needs into elegant technical solutionsCoordinate with IT on network resources and hardware utilizationDesign operational data pipelines using advanced data architectures and conduct regular system auditsAuthor clear technical documentation functional specs and user guides that meet audit requirementsRespond to support requests troubleshoot issues and continuously recommend improvements to our AIML capabilitiesWork within an AgileScrum product development process and support training AI products across the organization QUALIFICATIONS Required 25 years of experience in software development and cross platform integration using industry best practicesBachelors degree in computer scienceengineering Information Technology or a related discipline 4 years of direct industry experience may be substitutedSolid working knowledge of AIML best practices design patterns and architectureStrong backend skills in Python Example Fast API Flask DjangoProven track record building and consuming APIs HTTP requests web sockets and other communication protocolsProficiency writing SQL to extract and manipulate data across databasesExcellent communication and collaboration skills with a knack for interfacing effectively between business groups and technical teamsStrong critical thinking problem solving skills and a self starting make it happen attitudeComfort working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic fast paced environmentProficiency across the software development lifecycle from gathering requirements to shipping a finished productCommand of agile best practices architectural paradigms code reviews branching strategies task management documentation and testingFluency with GIT version control DESIRED Advanced degree in Computer ScienceEngineering Information Technology or a related disciplineComprehensive understanding of web servers and web applicationsFrontend experience with TypeScript and ReactManufacturing or aerospace experience building AIML systems for production automation quality control or industrial optimization is a major plusHands on experience building MLOps and model evaluation pipelinesHigh proficiency in Python JavaScriptTypeScript and SQLExperience with AIML frameworks such as PyTorch TensorFlow or similar libraryframeworkExperience with utilizing AWS Services in the AIML space to create full enterprise support systemssoftware in a regulated environmentFamiliarity with AWS cloud services GovCloud experience is a strong plusGeneral knowledge of container based technologies Docker Kubernetes Rancher etcExperience developing testing and deploying software across multi application environmentsFamiliarity with the Atlassian suite Jira Confluence
