Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop advanced nuclear reactor systems, including vessels and electromechanical components, while ensuring compliance with industry codes and safety standards. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage the technical baseline, verify fabrication activities, and support reactor operations and experimentation.

Requirements: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6-8 years of relevant professional experience. Applicants must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a DOE Security Clearance and possess deep knowledge of ASME codes and mechanical system design.
