Software Engineer, Sandbox & Agent Executor

Job Description

You will build and own the agent platform behind Retool's AI products, managing model-driven behavior across product, infrastructure, and evaluation layers. Your role involves designing long-horizon workflows, ensuring system reliability, and setting standards for safe, production-grade agentic software.

Requirements: Candidates must have 6+ years of professional engineering experience with complex production systems and hands-on experience with agentic systems and sandboxing technology. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Kubernetes is required, along with the ability to mentor engineers and manage non-deterministic AI behavior.
