About Us Venatre is a mission driven government contractor based in Tampa FL supporting federal and civilian agencies with secure cutting edge technology cybersecurity and mission support services Our teams are trusted in demanding environments because we integrate with client missions combining technical depth operational precision and innovative thinking to deliver meaningful results where they matter most About the Job Venatre is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen software delivery through automation operational discipline and collaboration between development and operations teams This role will configure and enhance CICD pipelines automate application builds and deployments manage Infrastructure as Code and configuration management and improve observability security and incident response The Senior DevOps Engineer will also contribute to complex software and cloud solutions system architecture security compliance and technical documentation to improve scalability resilience and long term operational performance This is a full time position based in Springfield VA or St Louis MO Work must be performed onsite at the client location within a SCIF; telecommuting is not available Candidates must possess a current and active TSSCI security clearance and must be willing and able to obtain a CI Polygraph Responsibilities DevOps \& CICD Configure and maintain CICD pipelines for multiple web applicationsPerform application builds using source code and required dependenciesImplement automated testing and security scanning throughout deployment workflowsDeploy applications across development staging and operational environmentsSupport GitOps style operations management using tools such as ArgoCDDevelop and maintain automation that improves software delivery speed consistency and reliabilityInfrastructure \& Configuration Management Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code IaC and configuration management solutionsAuthor Helm charts to deploy resources within OpenShift environmentsManage infrastructure and application configurations across multiple environmentsSupport web application networking including TCPIP DNS certificate management and load balancingDeploy and manage databases and support application interaction with databases using SQL and object relational mapping technologiesSoftware \& Systems Engineering Research design develop and modify enterprise cloud solutions and application softwareDesign develop code test and debug complex software products and significant enhancements to existing applicationsDevelop and apply advanced methods and techniques to resolve complex software application challengesResolve complex hardwaresoftware compatibility and interface design considerationsConduct complex system investigations and testingIncorporate emerging technologies and product supportability considerations into system design and implementationContribute code enhancements and updates to existing code repositoriesDevelop application architecture diagrams and support strategic system architecture planningCollaborate with hardware engineering personnel regarding system characteristics that affect software performance and requirementsSecurity Monitoring \& ObservabilityManage and document system security and support security compliance activitiesPerform software updates and remediation in response to security scan findingsIntegrate security components with applications and databasesSupport zero trust identity implementations and associated authentication and authorization technologiesImplement and maintain monitoring logging networking and security capabilities for containerized environmentsImprove observability and incident response capabilities to accelerate issue detection troubleshooting and recoveryDocumentation \& Customer Support Develop and maintain system and architecture documentation supporting security and operational complianceProvide technical input for user manuals system documentation and training materialsPrepare reports documenting technical analyses findings and project progressPresent technical results and recommendations to management and customer personnelRequired Qualifications Current and active TSSCI security clearanceWillingness and ability to obtain a CI PolygraphBachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Systems Engineering or a related field;
