Electrical Engineer -- Building Systems

**Location: Alpharetta, GA**

We are working with an established Architecture \& Engineering firm in the Alpharetta area that is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to its team. This position will focus on electrical design for a variety of building projects, including K-12 schools, retail, mixed-use developments, and other commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing building electrical systems and enjoy working alongside architects and engineers from multiple disciplines.

### Responsibilities

* Design building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
* Perform electrical load calculations, equipment selection, and building code research.
* Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and construction bid documents.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project team members to meet project requirements and deadlines.
* Manage design responsibilities across multiple projects simultaneously.
* Participate in occasional project-related travel, as needed.

### Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably involving building systems.
* Experience with electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm design.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
* Revit experience is highly preferred.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
