Job Description

The mechanical engineer provides hands-on waterfront support and manufacturing engineering oversight for the construction and assembly of reactor and propulsion plant systems. They are responsible for resolving technical production issues, maintaining work instructions, and collaborating with craftsmen and construction management.

Requirements: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and at least 2 years of relevant exempt experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical writing skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and specific shipbuilding software.
