Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain ONTAP storage operating system features, particularly for QoS, Balanced Placement, and SAN and block storage technologies. Own complex features and modules end to end, debug and resolve customer and system issues, contribute throughout the product lifecycle, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements: Requires 8–12 years of relevant industry experience, strong C/C++ and Unix/Linux system programming skills, and knowledge of multithreading, system internals, file systems, data paths, replication, and high availability. Experience with storage technologies and SAN protocols is preferred, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
