Job Description

Design and support rotating equipment and plant systems, including generators, motors, auxiliary systems, and hydroelectric and diesel facilities. Lead or contribute to maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, testing, upgrades, safety procedures, compliance reviews, budgeting, and project planning.

Requirements: Requires a relevant two- or four-year engineering or technical degree and at least five years of field and design experience in small utility or industrial installations. Candidates should understand diesel technologies and power generation, be able to work safely around electrical and mechanical equipment, use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and travel as needed; an Alaska PE license and deeper hydroelectric experience are desired.
