Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure - San Francisco HQ

Job Description

Lead infrastructure resilience, reliability, observability, and scaling initiatives across the product, including recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and handling load spikes. Build performance-critical infrastructure such as real-time event processing and partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable product features.

Requirements: Requires 9 or more years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in infrastructure. Candidates should be skilled at investigating complex errors and performance issues, anticipating failure modes and bottlenecks, building scalable systems, and mentoring engineers on observability, rollout strategies, and risk mitigation.
