Civil Engineer

Job Description

Plans, reviews, and certifies civil engineering designs for school facilities and site improvements, while providing technical direction to District staff, architects, consultants, and construction teams. Manages civil engineering scopes, standards, contracts, permits, site studies, and property-related engineering matters.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least eight years of full-time professional civil design experience on commercial or public agency projects; educational facilities experience is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid California Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering and have AutoCAD and office software experience.
