Development Civil Engineer

Job Description

Prepare conceptual and preliminary civil and stormwater designs, permitting exhibits, and site feasibility reviews for community solar and other pre-NTP projects. Support developers and permitting processes, coordinate with engineering teams and consultants, and hand projects off to construction-tracked civil engineering staff at Notice to Proceed.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, at least four years of professional civil engineering experience, EIT certification, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD. Applicants must have stormwater and erosion control experience, permitting exhibit experience, and the ability to interpret geotechnical and wetland reports; a PE license and renewable energy experience are preferred.
