Development Civil Engineer

Job Description

Prepare conceptual and preliminary civil and stormwater designs, permitting exhibits, and site constraint reviews for community solar and other pre-NTP projects. Advise development teams, coordinate with engineering colleagues and consultants, support permit hearings and project reviews, and hand projects off to construction-tracked civil engineering staff at Notice to Proceed.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, at least four years of professional civil engineering experience including stormwater management and erosion control design, and EIT certification. Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD, have experience with discretionary permitting exhibits and interpreting geotechnical and wetland reports, and communicate effectively while managing multiple projects; a PE license is strongly preferred.
