Hydropower Engineer

Job Description

Conduct engineering and regulatory analyses of hydropower and pumped-storage technologies and infrastructure, and support laboratory and field testing, demonstrations, and applied research. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to assess risks, develop solutions, prepare technical materials and proposals, and coordinate project execution.

Requirements: Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant engineering experience, or a master's degree or PhD. Preferred qualifications include graduate-level engineering education focused on hydropower, hydropower industry experience, familiarity with U.S. hydropower infrastructure, programming and Linux experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and project or technical leadership experience.
