Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Description

Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering and Lean manufacturing teams, allocating resources and setting direction to meet divisional, site, and value-stream goals. Drive manufacturing process improvements, capital projects, Lean initiatives, production standards, and continuous-improvement savings in collaboration with operations and cross-functional teams.

Requirements: Requires a university degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred. Candidates should have at least eight years of manufacturing or production experience, including five years managing manufacturing engineers, along with project execution, cost estimating, vendor and contract experience, and knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, layouts, and process improvement.
