Civil Engineer

Job Description

Plan, review, and certify civil engineering designs for K–12 educational facilities, including site development, grading, paving, drainage, utilities, and related improvements. Coordinate consultants, contractors, District personnel, and city agencies; manage technical documents and contracts; and resolve design, construction, and permitting issues.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, at least eight years of full-time professional civil design experience, AutoCAD experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A valid California Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering is required; educational-facility experience is preferred.
