Co-op Manufacturing Engineer - Spring 2027

Job Description

**Job Summary:**  

The **Co-op Manufacturing Engineer - Spring 2027** will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with production activities. Primary work involves using SolidWorks CAD software to design tools and fixtures for manufacturing.  

**Minimum Qualifications:**  

* Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Engineering who has completed their freshman year of college.
* Experience: Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software.
* Must be willing to work 3 or more rotating semesters.

**Other functions include:**  

* Tooling and production method development
* Material storage analysis and improvement
* Collection and analysis of labor / machinery productivity and efficiency data
* Machine tool set up reduction

**Preferred Qualifications:**  

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
* Experience in or knowledge of metal cutting
* Experience in or knowledge of metal cutting processes / machinery.
