Environmental Engineer

Job Description

Lead environmental compliance, reporting, audits, permitting coordination, and waste-management improvement projects in a manufacturing plant. Develop and implement environmental policies, investigate incidents and drive corrective actions, coordinate training and communications, and participate in emergency response.

Requirements: Candidates need environmental engineering or compliance experience in manufacturing, experience coordinating permits with agencies or consultants, and a college degree or five years of relevant EHS, environmental, or manufacturing experience. The posting also calls for at least three years of Microsoft Office experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills; a relevant bachelor's degree, ISO management-system knowledge, project-management exposure, and five or more years of manufacturing experience are preferred or additionally requested.
