Environmental Engineer

Job Description

Lead environmental compliance, reporting, audits, and permitting activities across applicable federal, state, local, corporate, and plant requirements. Develop waste-management improvements and environmental procedures, investigate incidents, coordinate training and chemical approvals, and support emergency response and safety functions.

Requirements: Candidates need environmental engineering or compliance experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience coordinating with agencies and consultants to obtain permits. The posting calls for a college degree or five years of relevant EHS, environmental specialist, or manufacturing experience, at least three years using Microsoft Office, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills; a relevant bachelor's degree and project management or ISO management-system knowledge are preferred.
