Job Description

Define the long-term technical direction and scalable architecture for agentic storytelling in Google Photos, connecting curation, retrieval, story generation, the in-app agent, and Gemini. Lead development of conversational AI experiences, establish practices for orchestration and model evaluation, collaborate with engineering and research teams, and coach engineers on AI-enabled development.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with 8 years of C++ programming experience and 5 years of experience in design and architecture, testing, and launching software products. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, 5 years in technical leadership, and 3 years working across a complex, matrixed organization.
