Senior Software Engineer (West Coast USA)

Job Description

Design, build, and scale highly available AWS backend services and event-driven systems that support the manufacturing platform’s costing, pricing, lead-time, and design-for-manufacturability functions. Develop and maintain APIs, use AI coding agents responsibly, collaborate across teams, and improve reliability, testing, observability, and engineering practices.

Requirements: Applicants need at least five years of backend engineering experience, strong Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript skills, and experience with AWS, distributed systems, APIs, and SQL or NoSQL databases. They must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and have production experience with AI coding agents, along with sound testing, code review, system design, and security practices.
