Software Engineer Intern (Core, Infrastructure & Security) — Spring 2027

Job Description

Build and improve core software, infrastructure automation, and security systems that support Snowflake’s global data platform. Contribute to reliable, high-performance distributed services, engineering tools, testing frameworks, and security capabilities such as encryption, authentication, and access control.

Requirements: Applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program, with a desired class level of third- or fourth-year undergraduate, master’s, or PhD student; relevant majors include computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics. Required coursework includes algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming, alongside strong programming skills in Java, C++, Go, and/or Python; systems programming and teamwork are also expected.
