Senior Civil Engineer (PE)

Job Description

Lead and perform civil engineering design for airport-related projects, including airside and landside plans, roadway layouts, grading, drainage, paving, and utilities. Develop work plans, schedules, budgets, specifications, estimates, and project phasing, while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards and delivering projects successfully.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, a Professional Engineer license in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia (or the ability to obtain one), and 10 or more years of civil engineering design experience on transportation projects. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with aviation project experience preferred; knowledge of airport infrastructure, FAA and TSA regulations, and AIP funding requirements is also preferred.
