Civil Engineer (PE) - Aviation

Job Description

Lead and perform civil engineering design for airport airside and landside projects, including roadway layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and paving. Develop work plans, schedules, budgets, design documents, specifications, estimates, and project phasing plans while ensuring regulatory compliance and successful project delivery.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field and a Professional Engineer license in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia, or the ability to obtain one. Candidates need at least five years of civil engineering design experience on transportation projects, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and strong analytical, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills; aviation experience is preferred.
