Senior Materials Engineer, Dielectrics

Job Description

Lead multidisciplinary development and evaluation of high-voltage dielectric insulating materials for fusion generators, including testing their electrical performance and limits under heat, stress, and radiation exposure. Review and summarize technical research, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and represent the company at technical meetings and conferences.

Requirements: Requires an advanced degree and/or extensive knowledge of dielectric and electrically insulating materials, typically supported by a relevant degree and at least eight years of hands-on experience. Candidates should have at least eight years of industry experience delivering R&D and product development projects, including design reviews, and be able to lead milestone-driven work; radiation testing, product introduction, and multi-physics modeling are preferred.
