Engineering Designer II

Job Description

Design multimodal transportation projects, including bikeways, shared-use paths, streetscapes, complete streets, and trails, and prepare technical plans and bid-ready project packages. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, conduct site visits and construction monitoring, and support proposals, grant applications, feasibility studies, and planning documents.

Requirements: Requires 2–5 years of civil engineering experience in consulting or government and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field. Candidates should be proficient in MicroStation Connect and OpenRoads Designer, understand active transportation and street design, and demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, organization, and project-management skills.
