Senior Mechanical Engineer, Modules

Job Description

Own and improve subsystem designs for fusion generator prototypes, including electromagnetic, structural, fluid, thermal, and control systems. Design, analyze, test, and iterate hardware using CAD and simulation tools, while optimizing components for scalable manufacturing and collaborating across engineering and production teams.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least seven years of experience delivering full-scope engineering projects, including schedule ownership. Candidates should have hands-on multidisciplinary engineering experience, production hardware design and launch experience, strong CAD skills, and working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, GD&T, engineering drawings, and FEA tools.
