Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

Job Description

Design, implement, and improve software components for OCI’s hardware repair platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, performance, and fault tolerance. Build and operate tests, monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks; support incidents, investigate root causes, maintain automation, and apply security and change-management controls.

Requirements: Candidates must meet one of the stated education and software-development experience combinations, have at least two years of cloud-platform experience, three years of system-level testing and automation, and two years delivering and operating large-scale distributed systems. Required capabilities include Java, distributed-systems fundamentals, secure REST API development, performance troubleshooting, and software lifecycle practices; scripting, virtualized infrastructure, and database or NoSQL experience are preferred.
