Staff Software Systems Architect

Job Description

Lead the architecture, design, and technical direction of distributed IBCS Engagement Operations software, including requirements traceability, interfaces, data flows, and architectural trade studies. Guide implementation and integration teams, support testing and technical reviews, translate operational needs into system capabilities, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: Requires a relevant STEM bachelor's degree and typically 10+ years of experience, or a relevant STEM master's degree and typically 8+ years, along with U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates need extensive Java and C++ development experience, distributed-system architecture and integration expertise, and experience with IAMD or comparable command-and-control systems and Engagement Operations.
