Staff Software Engineer, Financial Infrastructure

Job Description

Design, build, and own backend services and APIs supporting retirement money movement, payments, settlements, reconciliation, and financial integrations. Partner with product, compliance, operations, and engineering teams to deliver reliable production workflows, resolve operational issues, improve system reliability, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, strong experience building services, APIs, and data-heavy workflows, and the ability to own systems through production support. Candidates should have experience in financial or other high-correctness domains, familiarity with Ruby on Rails or a comparable backend framework, strong cross-functional communication, and the ability to mentor engineers.
