Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Design and validate custom mechanical and structural systems for advanced test facilities, including performing FEA, calculations, and preparing design and procurement documentation. Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and project stakeholders, and support procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, design reviews, and proposal development.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent education and experience, plus at least five years of mechanical, systems, or design engineering experience. Candidates should have 3D CAD and FEA proficiency, experience with welded structures and fluid or process systems, knowledge of fabrication and applicable pressure vessel and piping codes, and the ability to meet U.S. Person requirements and travel as needed.
