Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Design and validate custom mechanical and structural systems for advanced test facilities, including performing FEA, calculations, and preparing design and procurement documentation. Coordinate with designers, vendors, project teams, and fabrication and installation groups to support projects from concept through commissioning.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent education and experience, plus at least five years of relevant mechanical or systems design experience. Candidates should have 3D CAD and FEA experience, knowledge of welded structures, fluid and process systems, pressure vessels and piping codes, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams; U.S. Person eligibility is required.
