Staff Software Engineer, Incubation and Prototyping

Job Description

Lead rapid prototyping and development of applied AI concepts, translating ethnographic research and human needs into technical capabilities from exploration through handoff. Set technical direction for proofs of concept, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and partners, and communicate results through demos and technical documentation.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 8 years of software development experience, and experience testing and launching products, designing software architecture, and applying AI and machine learning in applications. Candidates should also have experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows; preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, technical leadership, prototyping in ambiguous problem spaces, and strong communication skills.
