Mechanical Engineer, Modular R&D

Job Description

Design and release the modular data center’s mechanical systems, including cooling loops, pumps, piping, airflow, and heat rejection, while resolving interfaces with structural and electrical systems. Support factory and field teams, respond to mechanical RFIs, and attend prototypes, fit checks, and first-article reviews, incorporating fixes into controlled design revisions.

Requirements: Candidates should have hands-on experience engineering mechanical systems for complex physical products or modular construction, producing clear fabrication-ready drawings, and supporting production launches of their designs. They should collaborate across disciplines and iterate quickly while maintaining configuration control; liquid cooling, sheet metal and piping design, 3D CAD, and design-for-manufacturing experience are bonuses.
