Senior Software Engineer - Accounting & Ledger Systems

Job Description

Design and evolve the core ledger, chart of accounts, and reporting systems that support client balances, trading positions, and financial statements. Partner with engineering, Finance, Data Engineering, and Product to ensure new financial products are modeled correctly, reconciled, and supported by extensible data structures.

Requirements: Requires 5+ years of backend software engineering experience and practical knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, chart-of-accounts design, financial statements, reconciliation, and audit needs. Candidates should have experience designing extensible data models and APIs, reviewing technical designs across systems, and communicating across functions; crypto, blockchain, and Kafka experience are advantageous.
