Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Define and evolve architecture for core systems and products that combine cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and hardware interaction. Lead strategic technical work, reviews, and mentoring while aligning engineering direction with product and research priorities and addressing scalability, reliability, and sustainability.

Requirements: Requires 10 or more years of software development experience, expertise designing and scaling distributed systems and real-time applications, and a record of leading technical strategy across teams. Candidates should be proficient in a backend systems language and understand system design, performance optimization, and fault tolerance; experience connecting machine learning research with production or physical-world systems is preferred.
