Software Engineer III (Backend Java)

Job Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend software in collaboration with product, user experience, and engineering teams, ensuring quality, security, and performance. Troubleshoot production issues, manage requirements and delivery, support CI/CD and application monitoring, document solutions, and guide small engineering groups.

Requirements: Requires at least four years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend Java development, or the stated minimum qualification of a relevant bachelor's degree plus two years of experience. Candidates should have expertise in object-oriented programming, platform and API design, iterative development, CI/CD, debugging, telemetry, documentation, and root cause analysis; a relevant master's degree and accessibility knowledge are preferred.
