Software Engineer Compiler II (Full Time) – United States

Job Description

Develop, optimize, and maintain compiler, code analysis, and debugging toolchains for Cisco networking platforms, including compiler transformations, LLVM/GCC backends, and GDB/LLDB capabilities. Build automated validation and performance tooling, improve DWARF support, integrate AI-assisted developer tools, and contribute enhancements to open-source systems.

Requirements: Applicants must have a relevant master's degree with no work experience or a relevant bachelor's degree with at least two years of work experience, completed within the specified timeframe. They need strong C/C++ systems programming skills, hands-on compiler or LLVM/GCC infrastructure experience, and knowledge of processor architecture, assembly, operating systems, and runtime debugging.
