Senior Software Engineer - DevX

Job Description

Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, infrastructure, and developer tools that improve how Reddit engineers write, test, review, deploy, and operate software. Lead cross-functional projects, integrate tools with existing engineering systems, incorporate internal user feedback, and mentor engineers while improving reliability and usability.

Requirements: Requires at least five years of professional software development experience and three years working on large-scale distributed systems, with strong production experience in Go and experience designing APIs and building platforms or developer tools. Candidates should also bring infrastructure or cloud experience, hands-on use of AI-powered developer tools, a record of leading cross-team projects, strong communication skills, and experience mentoring engineers.
