Senior Software Engineer - DevX

Job Description

Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, infrastructure, and developer tools that improve how Reddit engineers write, test, review, deploy, and operate software. Lead cross-team projects, integrate tools with existing engineering systems, incorporate internal user feedback, and mentor engineers while improving reliability, usability, and productivity.

Requirements: Requires at least five years of professional software development experience and three years working with large-scale distributed systems, with strong production experience in Go. Candidates should have experience with APIs, developer platforms or tools, infrastructure such as Kubernetes or cloud systems, AI-powered developer workflows, and leading complex cross-team projects; mentoring and strong communication skills are also expected.
