Mechanical Engineer II – Design

Job Description

Design, develop, model, and document mechanical components and assemblies for defense systems, including creating and updating engineering drawings and technical data packages. Support production and suppliers by resolving technical issues and obsolescence, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to design reviews, trade studies, testing, and product lifecycle activities.

Requirements: Requires a STEM degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field. Candidates must have experience in at least three of four areas: mechanical hardware or tooling design and production, 3D CAD engineering drawings, technical documentation review and interpretation, and dimensioning and tolerancing analysis; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim security clearance are also required.
