Lead development and engineering reviews, coordinate water utility projects, and manage potable water infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction. Oversee project scopes, budgets, schedules, agreements, permitting, and stakeholder coordination while supporting construction and water operations staff.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field and Washington State Professional Engineer registration are required, along with four years of progressive engineering experience that includes capital projects. Candidates should have technical knowledge of potable water systems and strong organizational, collaboration, leadership, communication, and engineering software skills; experience with water main design and further study in hydraulics, modeling, or construction management are preferred.
