Principal Engineer Software (Prisma AIRS Core Services Backend)

Job Description

Set technical direction and make architecture decisions for shared platform services, while designing and building scalable, reliable backend systems for the Prisma AIRS AI security platform. Own features through the full development lifecycle, operate production services, collaborate across product and engineering teams, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: Requires 10 or more years of software engineering experience building large distributed systems and cloud web services, proficiency in a strongly typed language or modern Python, and experience with cloud providers, databases, messaging systems, microservices, and comprehensive testing. Candidates should also have end-to-end project leadership, production troubleshooting experience, strong ownership and communication skills; a computer science degree or equivalent experience is listed.
