**Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineer, for a W2 contract opportunity!**

**Software Engineer**

**Location: Phoenix** **, AZ, 85027 or Charlotte, NC,28202**

**Work Schedule: Hybrid- in office3 days.**

**Duration: 12 months with the potential to extend / convert!**

**This is a W-2 contract opportunity, and candidates must be able to work on our W-2 only. NO C2C or 1099.**

**Top Skills:** Preference is for candidates with **banking industry experience, ADK (Agent Development Kit) experience, or exposure to LLMs.** Must have experience i**n Java, Spring Boot, Python, Backend, or Data-driven development.**

**Required Qualifications**
4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
* 4 years of **Java experience, including proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot.**
* 2 years of **experience with Python** , focused on backend or **data-driven development**
* Deep understanding of Reactive Programming, including Web Flux
* ands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
* Experience with Flink for stream processing and data pipelines.
* Database expertise with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and Oracle (RDBMS).
* 2 years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interfaces (APIs).

**Job Summary:**
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.  
Required Qualifications: 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

**Desired Qualifications:**
* 3 years of experience with Cloud technologies.
* Exposure to LLMs (Large Language Models), agentic architectures, and prompt engineering concepts.
* Familiarity with ADK (Agent Development Kit), Playbook, or similar agentic frameworks
