Job Description

Design and support installation, testing, maintenance, upgrades, and repair of rotating equipment and generation systems at hydroelectric and diesel plants. Provide operational troubleshooting, prepare technical and safety documentation, ensure compliance, and contribute to budgeting, planning, and project tracking.

Requirements: Requires a relevant two- or four-year engineering or technical degree and at least five years of field and design experience with small utility or industrial plant installations. Candidates need basic diesel technology knowledge, familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, safe work practices around electrical and mechanical equipment, and the ability to travel; Alaska PE registration and hydroelectric turbine expertise are desired.
