Software Engineer II, AI Agents

Job Description

Build and operate AI agents that complete customer workflows across voice, SMS, web chat, and email, integrating with Storable products and systems of record while enforcing safety, consent, and auditability. Take agents from pilot to production by evaluating task success, monitoring reliability, escalation, latency, and cost, and improving workflows in partnership with product, design, operations, and engineering teams.

Requirements: Requires at least three years of production backend engineering experience and experience shipping an LLM-backed feature to real users, including measuring and improving its performance. Candidates should have strong API integration and stateful workflow skills, practical agent mechanics experience, and the ability to evaluate and operate nondeterministic systems; the role also requires onsite work in the Seattle area 2–3 days per week and current U.S. work authorization.
