Sentinel - Principal/Sr Principal Mechanical Engineer (17102)

Job Description

Design and develop mechanical systems and launch-equipment hardware for the Sentinel program, including CAD models, drawings, sizing analyses, and verification through simulation, testing, and performance analysis. Support the full systems lifecycle, present technical designs and status to customers and program teams, and assist with team scheduling and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related STEM field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience for Principal level or 8 years for Senior Principal level (or 6 years with a master's degree). Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active Secret clearance, be able to obtain SAP approval, and have at least 5 years of CAD modeling and mechanical engineering experience, including knowledge of engineering standards, GD&T, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
