**Job Title:** Lead DevOps Engineer

**Location:** Plano, TX or Richmond, VA

**Duration:** 6 months

**Pay Rate:** $70/HR (W2 Only)

**Job/Role Description:**

* Support enterprise DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives within a large-scale technology environment.
* Develop, support, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and associated DevOps processes.
* Work extensively with Jenkins and related continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies.
* Support SRE practices with a focus on system observability, reliability, and operational readiness.
* Participate in on-call support and respond to production issues as needed.
* Support incident management and troubleshooting efforts within the technology operations environment.
* Apply software engineering fundamentals to troubleshoot, support, and improve applications and infrastructure.
* Work with development environments and IDEs and demonstrate an understanding of programming concepts.
* Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other technical teams to maintain reliable production systems.
* Help ensure systems and applications are prepared for production deployment and ongoing operational support.

**Required Qualifications**

* Hands-on DevOps experience supporting enterprise technology environments.
* Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
* Hands-on experience with Jenkins.
* Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and practices.
* Experience with observability and monitoring of production systems.
* Experience supporting or participating in on-call rotations.
* Experience with incident management and production troubleshooting.
* Software engineering experience with an understanding of programming concepts and development environments/IDEs.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be able to work onsite in Plano, TX or Richmond, VA.
* Must complete the required technical assessment as part of the interview process.
