Senior Software Engineer (Platform Core)

Job Description

Design, build, operate, and support distributed backend services and APIs that handle high-volume customer interactions, while improving the reliability, scalability, latency, and cost of shared platform systems. Own platform work end to end, participate in on-call and incident response, collaborate across teams, and raise engineering standards through reviews, documentation, and mentorship.

Requirements: Candidates should have 5–7+ years of production backend and API development experience, strong hands-on Python and/or Go skills, and experience with distributed systems and cloud-native development using AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker. They should also have production ownership and on-call experience, plus familiarity with PostgreSQL or Aurora, Redis, and RabbitMQ and the ability to reason about reliability, performance, and scale.
